We are sad to announce that on November 23, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Helen Wayda McAndrew of Laflin, Pennsylvania, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Wayda and Anna Poplawski Wayda; her siblings, Mary Ann Wayda, Dorothy Albert, Anna Wayda and Joseph Wayda; and her sister-in-law Mary Neary.

She is survived by: her husband Joseph McAndrew; and her siblings-in-law, Jack Albert, Susan Armbruster (Thomas), Diane Wilhelm (Donald) and Mary McAndrew. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Maria Goretti Church, 42 Redwood Drive Laflin, PA 18702 or to St. Vincent DePaul Kitchen P.O. Box 1088 Wilkes-Barre, PA 18703.
