With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hedwig R. Gill (Laflin, Pennsylvania), born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 12, 2018 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Frank Niemiec; her husband Michael Gill; and her siblings, John Niemiec, Josephine Lapsansky, Nellie Paczkowski, Theresa Niemiec, Agnes Niemiec and Sophie Ruskey.
She is survived by: her parent Helen Niemiec (Briestek); her daughters, Paula Gill of New York City, NY and Katherine Neville; her son-in-law Ray Neville of Wappingers Falls, NY; her grandchildren, Dustin Schiavi and Christine Neville of San Diego, CA; and her sister Mary Kosuth of Oakland, NJ.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Maria Goretti Church in Hedwig's memory.
