He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Melitta Hallman; his children, Susan Leeds (Gary) and Victor Hallman IV; his grandchildren, Alexia and Elena; and his sister Ann Pettigrew.

Memorial donations may be made in Victor's honor to the General Scholarship Endowment Fund at the University of Pennsylvania (checks made out to "Trustees of Univ. of PA" with memo line "General Scholarship Endowment Fund").
