He was predeceased by: his siblings, Judy and Jeff; and his parents-in-law, Fred and Fanny Rizzo (Filomena). He is survived by: his parents, George Kuntz and Mary Lou Kuntz (Straub); his daughters, Debbie (Tom) and Elizabeth (Rob); his wife Verna; his sons, Jeff (Ania) and Michael (Aura); his grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, Téa, Michaela Linthorst, Alek, Kasia Kuntz, Justin, Aidan, Dylan Holligan, Ariana, Joaquin and Emilia Kuntz; and his siblings, Suzanne (Bill), Robert (George), Harry Mansfield, Rick (Pam), Mary Lou, Neil (Rosemary), Joe and Fred (Bobbie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
