Merece H. Johnson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2020, at the age of 93, Merece H. Johnson of Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, born in Henning, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Holmgren and Stella Holmgren (Hanson); her husband Dave; her siblings, Jean Benson (Harvey) and David Holmgren (Virginia); and her grandson Ryan Johnson (Kate).
She is survived by: her children, Kay Gagnon (Dwight) of Benton, ME, Jill Schrimsher (Jeff) of Hillsborough, N. C, Mark Johnson (Margaret) of Ambler, PA and Sue Wilson (Craig) of Allison Park, PA.; and her grandchildren, Laura, Caroline, Drew (Johnson), Amy, Aaron (Gagnon), Andrew, Robin and Evan (Wilson). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Due to pandemic concerns, there will not be a local public memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Henning High School Scholarship Fund (H-545 Foundation, PO Box 463, Henning, MN 56551).
