She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Barshak; and her brothers, Albert Waldman and Donald Waldman. She is survived by: her children, Alison Barshak (Pacifico "Podge" Sgambato), Eric Barshak (Dana) and Wendy Carbone (Sal); and her grandchildren, Natalie, Adrian, Bianca, Cole, Amanda and Sarah.
