He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Whalon and Lillian Whalon (Barsuglia); his wife Mary Whalon (McCarrick); and his siblings, Elaine and Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Whalon (Diane) of Vestal, NY, Mary Ann Bovell Plymouth (Mike), Eileen Behr (Jim), Thomas Whalon Audubon (Anne), John (Eileen), Michael (Colleen) and Trysha Haile (Darren) of Oreland, PA; and his brother Ernest Whalon (Florence). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
