He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bateman and Eva Bateman (Dustmen); his wife Rose Nutter; and his son Edward. He is survived by: his brother George.

Edward's Interment will be held following mass at Ressurection Cemetery 5201 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem In Liew of flowers donations may be made to: The Leukemia Lymphoma Society 100 N 20th St. Philadelphia, PA 19103.
