With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Valerie Joan McKay of Laceyville, Pennsylvania, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on October 7, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Mills and Esther Sargent Mills; and her brothers, Barry, Brian, James and Roderick.
She is survived by: her husband John McKay; her children, Jennifer Lee Dunn (Douglas) of Northampton, PA and Jeffrey McKay (Elennor Kennell) of Philadelphia, PA; her brother Douglas Mills (Jill) of Mehoopany, PA.; and her granddaughters, Brooke, Ruby and Ada. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Valerie's name to "Rock Steady Boxing", 112 River St., Tunkhannock, PA.
