He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude A. Jayne Sr. and Esther Remaley Jayne; his daughter-in-law Trudy Jayne; and his brother Claude Jayne Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Hartshaw; his children, Dorothy (Jerry Weir) of Laceyville, PA and Dale (Kim Jayne) of Wyalusing, PA.; and his grandchildren, Crystal, Nate Lacey of Sanford, NC, Lieutenant Colonel Eric, Ava Jayne, Jared Weir of Pittsburg, PA, Joel and Emily Weir of Berwyn Heights, MD.
