It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Stuart Rhubright Jr. of Laceyville, Pennsylvania, born in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph S. and Dorothy M.; and his stepgreat-granddaughter McKenzie Vanderpool. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth J. Rhubright (Rubrecht); his sons, Joseph S. Rhubright III (June) of Laceyville, PA and Scott Rhubright (Jeff) of Albany, NY; his granddaughter Kristine Card (Tyler) of Laceyville; his stepgrandsons, Nick Vanderpool (Kristy) and Branden Vanderpool (Eve) of Laceyville; his great grandchildren, Brayden and Brinley Card; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Taylor, Jada, Nicholas, Tacoma and Quinn Vanderpool; and his sister Judy Renner (Howard) of White Hall, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
