He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Peter and Hilda Peter (Smith); and his brothers, John Peter, Paul Ruch and Sterling Peter.
He is survived by: his wife Susan J. Peter (Ferguson); his daughters, Sarah R. Kurtz (William Jr.) of Fleetwood and Kelly S. Peter of Kutztown; and his siblings, Annabelle Koplin (Maynard) of Topton and Forrest Peter of Allentown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many friends.
