With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John J. Schaub of Kutztown, Pennsylvania, born in Coney Island, New York, who passed away on January 1, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. and Mary P. Schaub (Lauro); his son Joseph Schaub; and his sisters, Eileen Pauli and Patricia Montalbine.
He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Schaub (McCarthy); his children, Jeannie Petruzzella (Steve Petruzzella) of Lindenhurst, NY, Kathleen Welsh (Matthew C. Welsh), John P. Schaub (Jane T.), Richard C. Schaub (Roseann J.) and MaryEllen Erickson (Kerry D. Erickson) of Emmaus, PA.; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth (Dave), Matthew (Nicole), Emily (Matt), MaryKate, Stephen (Rachel), David, Alan (Jennifer), Timothy (Amy), Jessica, Johnathan and Katherine. He is also survived by his 17 great-grandchildren, and by several nieces and nephews.
