With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel J. Smith of Kutztown, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Smith and Mary Smith (Staublein). He is survived by: his wife Barbara H. Smith (Morrison); his children, John G. of Kutztown, Joseph (Shellie) and Jennifer (Charles Brensinger) of Kutztown; his grandchildren, Nicole Shrunk (Kyle), Courtney Knauer (Jake), Brandon Bailey, Tanjie Kramer (Cody), Katy Bailey Fiancé of Jordan Blatt, Trista Wehr (Kyle) and Hunter Smith Husband of Lanie; his great grandchildren, Adelina, Chase, Caden and Elena; and his stepgrandchildren, Brody, Kylie, Lucas and Anthony.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar St. John's Lutheran Church (201 E Main St, Kutztown, PA 19530). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
