We bid farewell to Jean S. Wieand of Kunkletown, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 29, 2025 at the age of 91. Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jean had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Jean may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley M. Wieand; her mother Stella C. Seibert; and her sister Anna Mae Brobst Lauth. She is survived by: her children, Terrence S. M. Wieand (Leah) of Harleysville, Kay E. Wieand of Whitehall, Mark D. Wieand (Carla) of Schnecksville and Jason E. Wieand of Orefield; and her brother David A. Shellhammer (Fran) of Slatington. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Union United Church of Christ (5550 PA-873, Schnecksville, PA 18065).
