We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2023 we had to say goodbye to James W. Mackes Jr. of Kunkletown, Pennsylvania, born in Palmerton, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Mackes Sr. and Mamie V. Mackes (Green); and his brother Norman Griffith. He is survived by: his wife Linda E. Mackes (Kern); his children, James W. Mackes III of Tampa, FL, Candace McMaster (Ron) of Easton and Jillian Mackes of Palmerton; his sister Eileen Rinker (Don); his grandchildren, Allyson McMaster, John McMaster and Nevella Sheckler; and his pets, Chloe and Lilykins. He is also survived by his friends and family.
