He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Haydt and Glendora Sherer (George); his stepparents, Clark Sherer and Juliane Haydt; and his sister-in-law Mary Sherer.
He is survived by: his spouse Sally Haydt (LaMurry); his children, Scott Haydt (Shelly) of Palmerton, Stephanie McCafferty (Brian) of Roanoke, VA and Sherry Haydt of Kunkletown; his siblings, Ronald Haydt (Shirley) of Kunkletown, Barry Haydt (Maureen) of Ambler, Lamont Sherer of Parryville, Rick Sherer (Tammy) of Kunkletown and Cheryl Allen (Lloyd) of Palmerton; and his grandchildren, Travis and Kyra.
