With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy A. Atherton (Kunkletown, Pennsylvania), born in East Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on December 4, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Reimer and Helen Reimer; and her siblings, Charles, Walter, Donald, Mildred, Miriam and Elsie.

She is survived by: her husband Paul G. Atherton; her children, Marilyn Creamer (Don) of Oakland and Douglas Atherton (Marianne) of Effort, PA; her grandchildren, Brian Creamer (Kristy), Laura Foray (Andrew), Paul Atherton (Meagan) and Andrew Atherton; her great grandchildren, Sean Creamer, Aidan Creamer and Charlotte Atherton; and her siblings, Barbara and Robert. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the United Methodist Church in Wayne, 99 Parish Drive, Wayne, NJ 07470 would be greatly appreciated.
