He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Gard and Philomena Bruno; and his siblings, Chester, Joseph Gard, Mary Gard and Anna Marie Voloshin.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Gard; his children, Nicholas T. Gard (Cheri) and Eileen Kowalski (Curt); his grandchildren, Nicole Gard, Alyssa Gard, Caylan Kowalski and Nicholas Kowalski; his brother Morris Gard; and his sister-in-law Ann Gard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Church of the Holy Angels (855 Scott St, Kulpmont, PA 17834). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (172 All Saints Rd, Elysburg, PA 17824).
