He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Gard and Philomena Bruno; and his siblings, Chester, Joseph Gard, Mary Gard and Anna Marie Voloshin.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Gard; his children, Nicholas T. Gard (Cheri) and Eileen Kowalski (Curt); his grandchildren, Nicole Gard, Alyssa Gard, Caylan Kowalski and Nicholas Kowalski; his brother Morris Gard; and his sister-in-law Ann Gard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
