It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene A. Derr of Kulpmont, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irene A. Derr to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Rimokiatis and Anna Rimokiatis (Benyock); her husband William R. Derr; and her brother Bernie Rimokiatis. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Derr (Shirley) of Las Vegas, NV, Debbie Derr of Hegins, William R. Derr Jr. (Darlene) of Mount Carmel and Irene Derr-Balonis (Robert) of Kulpmont; her sister-in-law Irene Francis Kessler of West Chester; and her grandchildren, Chrissy, Crystal, Tommy, Greg, Yvonne, William III, Melissa, Joseph, Justin and Sierra. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.
