He is survived by: his sons, Steven of Kulpmont, Ernest of Shamokin and Robert (Elysburg); his brother-in-law Randy Merlo of Atlas; his daughter-in-law Pam Hooper-Begis of Mount Carmel; his grandchildren, Kristen Zimmerman (Andy), Christopher Delbo, Tina Schu (Spencer), Lissa, Ashley Silva (Samuel) and David Stamets (Angie); and his great grandchildren, Noah, Ashton, Jonah, Ava, Josiah, Gracie, Everly, Raina, Cason and Matteo.
