She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Long and Ellen Long (Hummel); her husband Wilbert R. Howerter; her mother-in-law Sarah Jane Howerter (Thacher); her son Brian Howerter; her grandson Philip Zanolini; her brother Walter Long (Goldie); and her siblings-in-law, Harry Guinther, James Howerter, Edward Howerter (Catherine), Gale Long, Florence Milbrand (Donald), Sara Jane Zimmerman (Donald) and Eileen Schlagel (Wally).
She is survived by: her children, Warren Howerter (Laura) of Mount Carmel, Wilbert Howerter (Patricia) of Saylorsburg, Ronald Howerter (Lisa) of Kulpmont and Darlene Zanolini (William) of Sugarloaf; her daughter-in-law Barbara Howerter of Locustdale; her grandchildren, William Zanolini (Amanda), Steven Howerter (Heather), Neal Zanolini, Eileen Zarski (Jason), Jeneen Stevens (William), Juanita McBride (Shawn), Pamela Heard (Rodney), Crystal Rittenhouse (Daniel), Ellen Togerson (Marty) and Megan Zanolini (Steven Langlon); her siblings, James Long of Wind Gap and Ellen Knecth (William) of Wind Gap; and her siblings-in-law, Ronald Howerter (Brenda), Jean Guinther of Mount Carmel and Blendine Howerter of Elysburg. She is also survived by twelve great-grandsons; six great-granddaughters; two great-great grandsons; four great-great-granddaughters.
