He was predeceased by: his father Adolph Blugis; and his grandparents, Fred, Anna Lacusky, Adolph and Isabel Blugis.

He is survived by: his children, Myles Anthony of Bloomsburg and Alexa Blugis; his mother Jean Blugis of Kulpmont; and his siblings, Ann Margaret Blugis-Cooke (Curtis) of Northumberland, Adam Blugis (Sharon) and Christopher Blugis (Lori) of Cressona. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, one great-nephew, and cousins.
