He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn "Evie" R. Hawk (Young); his parents, Floyd W. Hawk and Cora A. Hawk (Shupp); his sons, Troy K. Hawk and Bruce A. Hawk; and his siblings, Pauline George, Minerva Rehrig, Margaret George, Raymond Hawk, Gerald Hawk and Peggy Beers.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas C. Hawk (Cathy) of Parryville, Brian J. Hawk (Vicki) of Coplay, Tammy T. Hawk-Held of Gilbert and Tracey L. Hawk-Andrews (Clay) of Towamensing Twp; his grandchildren, Christopher, Victoria, Ariana, Andrew, Grayson Hawk, Madison, Riley Held, Hailey and Damen Andrews; his brother Clarence Hawk (MaryLou) of Kresgeville; and his sister-in-law Shirley Hawk of Palmerton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
