John T. Onderko Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2025, at the age of 88, John T. Onderko of Kresgeville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Onderko and Elizabeth Onderko (Mihalik); his wife Shirley Onderko (Mondero); his siblings, Thomas Onderko (Rosemary), Michael Onderko (Rosemary) and Dorothy Kusmider (Joseph); and his brother-in-law Herbert Youngkins.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Onderko (Alicia) of Leola, PA and David Onderko (Bridgette) of Hillsborough, NJ.; his grandchildren, Justin Onderko (Kelly), Dana Heimerl (Josef), Gregory Onderko, Caroline Onderko and William Barry (Dana); and his siblings, Donald Onderko of Drums, PA and Elizabeth Youngkins of Allentown, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (1402 US-209, Brodheadsville, PA 18322). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Gilbert Cemetery.
