He was predeceased by: his parents, Amandus Smith and Mary Smith (Hartman); and his brothers, Eugene Smith and Floyd Smith. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Smith (Smale); his sons, Donald Smith (Phyllis) of Parryville, Calvin Smith of Gilbert and Carl Smith (Anna) of Palmerton; and his sister Ellen Roth of Northampton. He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
