He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Alonzo and Rosalee Dennis (Preston); and his siblings, Howard Dennis, Gale Ross and Aldine Bolen.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Walter Dennis, Jr. (Flordeles) of Palm Bay, FL, Audrey Lynn Ward (Timothy) of Cammal, PA, Maxine Marie Newberry (Dann) of Knoxville, PA and Darlene Elaine Dennis of Spring Lake, NC; his grandchildren, Danielle, Nicole, Lesley, Daniel, Shelly and Kyle; and his brother Walter Dennis, Jr. (Laverna) of Lyons, NY.. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
