We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2022, at the age of 90, Rena Alice Abel of Knoxville, Pennsylvania, born in Elmira, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Seymour and Elvira Seymour (Spearan); her husband Richard "Red" Earl Abel, Sr.; her son Russell Abel; and her siblings, Betty Benson, Arthur Seymour, Jr., Albert Seymour, Merritt "Skeet" Seymour, Frank Seymour and Howard Seymour.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Earl Abel, Jr. (Susan) of Narragansett, RI, Ruth Groves of Millport, NY, Rhonda Rehrig (Bill) of Nesquehoning, PA, Roberta Carl of Waverly, NY and Rebecca Heck (Greg) of Knoxville, PA. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.
