He was predeceased by: his parents, David B. Murdock and Mary Murdock (Kilburn); his wife Dorothy O. Murdock; his daughter Randi Lawrence; and his sister Jane Murdock.
He is survived by: his sons, Rick Lawrence (Lynn) of Sunset Beach, NC and David Murdock (Lynne) of Knoxville, PA; and his grandchildren, Leslie (Mike Riley), Mark (Tamara Lawrence), Katie (Andy Meeker), Emma Wright of New York, NY, John R. (Mandy Murdock), Andrew Murdock (Joel Rhodes) and Carley Murdock of Conshohocken, PA. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
