She was predeceased by: her parents, Reed Merrick and Ada Merrick (Cooper); her husband Ardell O. Walker; and her siblings, Phillip Merrick and Helen Thomas.
She is survived by: her sons, R. James Walker (Carol) of Myrtle Beach, SC., Jerald Walker (Melinda) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Joseph Walker (Debbie); her grandchildren, Josh Walker (Karen) of Ravenel, SC., Jenelle Lombardo (Lou), Dustin Walker (Melissa) of Mountain Top, PA., Adam Cook (Abby) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Ben Walker (Kelly), Richmond, Megan Buck of Enola, PA and Philip Walker (Kristen) of DeLand, FL; and her sister Olive Wood of Little Marsh. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
