He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Rice and Dorothy Rice (Howland); his wife Ruby Skinner; his son Scott Rice; and his brother Clarence Rice, Jr..
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Rice (Johnna) of Knoxville and Grantland Rice (Lisa) of Anson, TX; his daughter-in-law Cindy Rice of Gibsonia, PA; and his siblings, Tracy Rice, Gail Bosh, Sandy Brown, Bertie Devlin and Cindy White. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
