He is survived by: his wife Alice Monroe; his children, Melesia Bacon (Christopher) of Westfield, PA, Albert Monroe Jr. of Westfield, PA and Nicole Monroe of Knoxville, PA; his siblings, Crystle Thorne (James) of Wellsboro, PA, Carolyn Setzer of Wellsboro, PA, Cynthia Swimlar of Westfield, PA, Andrew Monroe of Sayre, PA and Alan Monroe (Sherry) of Westfield, PA; and his siblings-in-law, Vane Gunn Sr. and Joanne Monroe. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
