He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Anna Grazer Bertha; and his stepgrandson Jeffrey Gadley. He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Mellon; his son Andrew Benjamin Bertha (Alicia) of Allentown; his grandchildren, Kyle and Illianna; his daughter Alice Schmeltzle (Trevor) of Allenton; his grandchildren, Michael and Corrinda; his stepson Shawn Swift (Heidi) of Navarre; his stepgrandchildren, Liam and Dietrich; his stepdaughter Melody Blair of Kossuth; his stepgrandsons, Joshua and Ty; and his siblings, Joseph (Debbie), Andrew (Jodi), John (Tina) and Diane (Jerry). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
