He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert H. Watkins and Enabelle May Best Watkins; his siblings, James C. Watkins and Betty G. Hopper; his son-in-law Dennis L. Minich; and his grandson Matthew I. Minich.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy F. Ashbaugh; his children, Randy A. Watkins (Nancy) of Knox, William C. Watkins (Jody) of Emlenton, Dianna Shick of Greenville and Cheryl Minich of Brockway; and his sister Opal Johnston (Bob) of Knox. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William N. Rupert Mortuary (430 Mendenhall Ave, Knox, PA 16232). The military honors was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
