He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Chalmer M. Mays and Melissa A. Morrison Mays of Knox; his son Lucas Mays of Pittsburgh; and his siblings, Michael M. Mays (Jill) of Miola, Thad E. Mays of Shippenville, Paige A. Solei (Rick) of South Carolina and Holly McFadden. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
