It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Hartzell (Knox, Pennsylvania), born in Williamsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 11, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Best and Alice Best; her husband Ross Hartzell; her brothers, Thomas Best, Francis Best, Auther Best, Lloyd Best and Glen Best; and her close friend Irene Beichner.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Stiglitz (John) of Knox, Donald Hartzell (Cathy) of Knox and David Hartzell (MaryAnn) of Emlenton; and her grandchildren, John Stiglitz Jr. (Kelly) of Knox, Lori Hargenrader (Terry) of Marble, Holly Bowser of Parker, Ryan Hartzell (Crystal) of Butler, Michael Stiglitz (Lillian) of Denver, NC, Heather Hartzell-Riley (Shaun) of Fishers, IN, Michelle Clark (Patrick) of Butler and Bridgett McCoy (Scott) of Knox. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Due to the current corona virus pandemic, a private family viewing will be held at the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home in Knox and interment will take place at the Clarion Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials are made to the Knox Area Ambulance Co., PO Box 636, Knox PA 16232.
