It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence W. Burris of Knox, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 4, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Henry and Carrie Rebecca Price Burris; his siblings-in-law, Mary and Lynn Kline of Knox; his great grandchild Dakota Roessler; and his siblings, James Price, Benjamin, Harvey, Robert, Joseph, George, Willis Burris and Mabel Dotterer.
He is survived by: his wife Ressie B. Garris Burris; his children, Robin R. Roessler (Steven) of Melbourne, FL, Douglas S. Burris (Katherine) of Cranberry and Sean W. Burris (Melissa) of Knox; his grandchildren, Rebekah Roessler of Melbourne, FL, Morgan Roessler of Charlotte, NC, Jakob Roessler of Melbourne, FL, Zachary Rupert of Oil City, Brittani Smerkar (Alex) of Seneca, Gabrielle Burris of Cranberry, Jeremy Long of Middletown, Erica Long of Jacksonville, FL and Hanah Burris of Knox; his sister Jane Hunsberger of Turniphole; his niece Kathryn Slaugenhaupt of Knox; and also, Dot Henry and Dot Colvin. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends.
