She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph G. Smith and Junie M. Henry Smith; and her siblings, Woodroe, Rayburn, Lee, Helen, Leona, Ruth, Jeanne, Larue and Faye.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey F. O'Neil (Mandy) of Knox, Timothy L. O'Neil (Kimberly) of Knox and Teresa K. Cussins (Donnie) of Lucinda; her grandchildren, Justin F. O'Neil (Megan), Amanda L. McCoy (Eric), Sheldon J. O'Neil (Chelsea), Jonathan C. O'Neil (Elaine), Phillip M. Smerkar III and Kera M. Cussins; and her great grandchildren, Ashlyn M. O'Neil, Elizabeth L. O'Neil and Reighleigh. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in Janet's honor to the charity of one's choice.
