He is survived by: his wife Patricia Shanafelt; his grandchildren, Lyrika and Christian Allmendinger; his sister Ruth Klein; his children, Jack Allmendinger Jr. (Denise) of West Virginia, Michele Allmendinger, Sheila Allio (Jerry), Jessica McCleary (Roger) and Daniel Allmendinger (Rachel); his sister-in-law Sandy Beichner (Ben) of Pennsylvania; and his grandchildren, Joshua Allmendinger, David Allio (Hope), Kimberly Colwell (Casey), Sharayah Delavern (Steve), Michael Harle and Wyatt McCleary. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
