She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Beichner and Rachel Zagst Beichner; her husbands, Bernard J Griebel Sr. and William L McGiffin; her sisters, Cecilia Daugherty of Corsica, Theresa Galbraith of Brookville, Elizabeth Slike and Barbara Baughman of Shippenville; her son-in-law Dr. John McParlane; her brothers, Gerald, Phillip Beichner, Edward, Stephen, Bernard and Martin Beichner; and her stepchildren, William H. McGiffin and Lois McGuire.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Phyllis Heeter of Knox, Roberta Sherman (Larry) of Seneca, Vernon McGiffin (Barbara) of Knox and James McGiffin (Connie) of Knox; and her brothers, Cletus Beichner of Titusville, PA and Dennis Beichner of Lacoma, NC.. She is also survived by her eleven children; five daughters and six sons.
