It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald David Nicewonger of Knox, Pennsylvania, born in Indiana, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Nicewonger and Alice Sanford Nicewonger; his children, Gary Nicewonger and Margie (Kenneth Rinamon); his great grandchild Ava Nicewonger; and his siblings, Dick Nicewonger, Ruth Fink, Judy Hillman and Pat Ivie.
He is survived by: his spouse Margy Romaine Hutchenson; his son Jack Nicewonger (Edie) of Knox; his grandchildren, Timothy (Erica Nicewonger) of Shippenville, Chad (Carrie Nicewonger) of Leeper, Kacey (Matt Gubba) of Moon Township, Shawn (Natalie Nicewonger) of Venus, Kelly (Nathan Smerker) of Shippenville, Sherri (Kurtis McNaughton) of Callensburg, Kari (Clinton Compton) of Bradford, Karl (Jordan Rinamon) of Smethport and Kurt (Cassie Rinamon) of Chestertown, NY; his siblings, John (Faye Nicewonger) of Shippenville, Sandy Baker-Herrick of Titusville and Connie (Ronald Wygant) of Tionesta; and his son-in-law Russell Myers of Lances Corners. He is also survived by 24 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made in Don's name to the Good Sheppard United Methodist Church, PO Box 340 Leeper, PA 16233.
