She was predeceased by: her parents, Livingstone Barden and Helen Brown Barden; and her brother Donald Barden. She is survived by: her husband Hal Wassink; her sons, Derek Wassink (Lori) of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Bret Wassink (Kelly) of Knox; and her sisters, Charlene Bray of Winston Salem, NC and Joan Barden of Westfield, NY..
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home Inc. (504 E Penn Ave, Knox, PA 16232). A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations are made to an environmental organization of one's choice.
