It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty M. Weeter of Knox, Pennsylvania, born in Turkey City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 9, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence L. Shoup and Ethel Ketner Shoup; her husband Carl R. Weeter; her siblings, Lawrence R. Shoup of Knox and Janet Grove (Shoup); her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Lackey Shoup and Alice Powell Shoup; and her nephew Randall Shoup of North Carolina.
She is survived by: her sons, James A. Weeter (Tracy) of Knox, PA and Thomas L. Weeter (Lisa) of Grove City; her brothers, Robert K. Shoup (Marilyn) of Butler, Kenneth R. Shoup (Peggy) of Grove City and Ronald E. Shoup of Oil City; her siblings-in-law, Dale Grove of Grove City and Darla Shoup of Knox; her grandchildren, Jaime Armstrong (Clint) of Slippery Rock, Taylor O'Neil (Colt) of Grove City and Mike Weeter (Jamie) of Wentlings Corners; and her great grandchildren, Cole, Coen, Carley Armstrong and Camdin Weeter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
