He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Koppenhaver and Ida Koppenhaver (Long); his wife Geraldine Chubb Koppenhaver; his daughter Barbara Sittlinger; his daughter-in-law Judy Koppenhaver; and his siblings, Permela Fry, Geneva Belt, Serray Buffington, Josephine Swalls and Henry Koppenhaver.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronald Koppenhaver (Helene) and Lickdale (Edward Koppenhaver). He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and his 4 legged Grandchildren.
