He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Neugard (Miller) and Paul Neugard; and his wife Dianne E. Neugard. He is survived by: his sons, Brent (Pam Neugard) and Brady (Angela Neugard); his grandchildren, Brittany, Brock, Lexi and Dawson Neugard; and his sister Carol (Terry Stehr).
