He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. Sherman and Marie B. Sherman (Zimmerman); and his sister Barbara Filipovitz. He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Sherman (O'Connor); his children, William D. "Bill" Sherman of Palmyra, PA, Colleen L. Tracy (Patrick) of Bellevue, PA and Christine A. Sherman of Kittanning; and his grandchildren, Molly, Mia Sherman, Simon and Julia Tracy.
