It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Atwood of Kittanning, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 21, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ethel Atwood (John); and his brothers, Frankie, Larry (Chas), Rob and Mike.
He is survived by: his children, Ron (Linda), Bid (Esther), Steve (Kelly), Tom Atwood (Rae), Pam Rhodes (Len Kushner) and Holly Wamsley (Tom); his grandchildren, Chris, Jason, Ryan Rhodes (April), Zachary (Kelli), Aaron Atwood (Alissa), Cory, Jamie (Courtney), Marlee Atwood (Jake), Shannon Knight (Ryan), Kylie Kanish (Zachary), Logan Atwood (Christina), Kolby, Bo Atwood, Alex (Lexi) and Ian Sharrow; his great grandchildren, Lennon, Carter, Landon, Tate, Torin, Paxin, Taylor, Bella, Addyson, Chaz, Lorelei, Kamryn, Mason and Maxton; his siblings, Don Atwood (LuAnn) of Kittanning, Joe Atwood (Judy) of Kittanning, Jack Atwood (Judy) of Indianapolis, Greg Atwood (Joyce) of Ohio and Carol Stanley (Dan) of Ohio; and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Atwood (Chas) of Kittanning and Zelma Atwood (Rob). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Guests attending the visitation and services for William are respectfully asked to wear a mask or face covering and follow all CDC/health safety protocols.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations are made in William's memory to our local fire halls and local small businesses.
