He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale K. Rumbarger and Mildred Rumbarger (Jones); his wife Louise Lolly; and his siblings, Paul, Kenneth, Harold and Mona Jean Maternick.

He is survived by: his niece Molly Palermo (John) of Kittanning; and his close friend Millie Odrey.
