He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Kathleen (Wehner) and Rev. Russell E. Hawk, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Karen S. Hawk (Marshall); his sons, Jared Hawk (Holly) of Sarver, Matthew Hawk of Indiana and Joshua Hawk (Jenna) of Indiana; his grandchildren, Caleb, Cadence, Lauren, Liam, Samantha, Trevor and Lyla; and his half-brother Wayne Conners (Trish) of Indiana.

A reception was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services (515 N McKean St, Kittanning, PA 16201). Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bauer Funeral Home (515 N McKean St, Kittanning, PA 16201).
