He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Silvis and Susan K. Silvis; his brother Mark Pennington; his sister-in-law Wanda; and his grandparents, Harry, Cora Silvis, Robert and Martha Heilman.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Silvis of Kittanning; his sons, Robert Silvis Jr. (Yaneya) of Kittanning, Sean Silvis (Jessi) of Kittanning and Phillip Silvis (Aggelgie) of Kittanning; his siblings, Jeff (Tina) of Kittanning, Jonathan (Ronna) of Kittanning, Andrew of Dayton, Julianne of North East and Chris (Mike) of Dayton; his grandchildren, Lennon Silvis, Abel Silvis, Emely Ramirez, Jade Ramirez and Kaydince Anderson; his aunts, Jean Kendall and Judy Walker (Ron); and his nephew Harry. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Robert's honor to St. Paul's Rector Discretionary Fund, 112 N. Water St., Kittanning, PA 16201 to support local community outreach.
